Don't be Afraid of Change, It's leading you Somewhere!

Like many things in life, the decision to bring about change rarely happens overnight. It takes something like a Eureka moment, a coach or an accident for us to really look at ourselves and realize that something needs to change. Things gradually build up in us and we start to suffer the results. It is usually the results that we notice first and not the need for change.

Positive change brings with it a feeling of happiness and success. And when we feel good, we feel stronger and more capable, like we can tackle anything.

So how would you know that your life might need some positive change? Here are a few signs:

  • Can't get to sleep.
  • Can't focus at work.
  • Eating too much or loss of appetite.
  • Avoiding friends and family.
  • Snapping or complaining alot.

People who have made a positive change are the ones in a good mood who are fun to be around.

To really excite you about change and its potential for overhauling your life, here are some of the results I've seen with clients, such as B. who have created positive change in their lives:

  • Earn better.
  • Stop worrying about what people think of them.
  • Stop trying to please everyone.
  • More confident.
  • Happier.
  • Healthier.
  • Form new relationships.

So, how can you create positive change in your life?

  • Feel the Pain

Feel the pain of the way things are for you right now. Notice how uncomfortable you feel.

  • Feel the Pleasure

Once you've felt the pain feel what it would feel like if you were already living the life you really want. Start thinking about what it is you can work on. What actions you can take to begin making changes. There's no need to work out why, how, where or with whom. Just think about the way you want to feel.

  • Feel the Fear

We can't move forward without accepting that with change comes fear.

  • Fear that you can't really change,
  • Fear that you're not confident.
  • Fear that you set the wrong goals.
  • Fear about what other people think.

Fear raises its head just as we aim to change. By feeling the fear and understanding how it impacts on you, you can make decisions to do something about it. Confidence comes from doing. What we fear most, is really what we truly want.List your fears so that you can design a strategy to manage them.

  • Seek Support

Don't keep your fear or your dreams to yourself. Share what you feel with a friend, colleague or professional who can help support your change.

  • Failure is Feedback

Failure is good for you. You learn from failure. By learning what went wrong, you have powerful information to help you realign.

  • Take Action

Create inner space through meditation or contemplation in order to receive answers that you've been struggling to find. Anything you truly want in life takes effort. Create the space to think about it, so that you can create the space to actually do it? Once you have some answers start with one tiny step that doesn't make you feel scared.

And finally, learn to recognize your values, loves, beliefs and how they fit into your way of change. Become familiar with what matters to you.

Change is powerful and change is natural . It happens whether you want it to or not. Progress, on the other hand, happens with your efforts and your well thought out intentions. You've already experienced progress and success in your life, go create more!!
